Kansas Child Care Training Opportunities State Training Office
All functions of the KCCTO State Training Office provide direct training to child care providers.
Community-Based Training
The State Training Office provides support to approved community-based trainers of child care providers across the state through a library of 30+ standardized, expertly-prepared curriculum. KCCTO staff can travel to communities to recruit new trainers, discuss the training opportunities KCCTO offers, and to network with agencies and organizations interested in child care provider training. KCCTO’s goal in community-based learning situations is to facilitate and augment, not to duplicate or replace, current community efforts
On-Line Learning
The State Training Office provides support to child care providers who may be unable to access community based training through on-line learning options. The same curriculums available to child care providers through community-based options are presented on-line by approved trainers who have received special training in distance education environments.
